Wash Your Hands

Steps for Washing Your Hands

Washing your hands properly is one of the most important things you can do to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Follow these steps to ensure you remove as many germs as possible:

  1. Wet your hands with warm water.
  2. Apply soap.
  3. Scrub the front and backs of hands, in between your fingers, under your nails, and around your wrists for 20 seconds (try singing the ABCs).
  4. Rinse your hands under warm water.
  5. Dry hands with a clean towel or paper towel.
  6. Turn off the sink using a towel.
