The USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has authorized several waivers and flexibilities to serve participants in its nutrition program, including SNAP, WIC, and Child Nutrition Program. Information can be found on the Wyoming COVID-19 webpage from FNS.

Wyoming has been approved to issue emergency SNAP supplements for the months of April and May 2020. The emergency SNAP supplement will bring eligible SNAP households up to the maximum monthly SNAP allotment for their household size. If your household is already receiving the maximum monthly SNAP allotment for your household size, you are not eligible for emergency SNAP supplements. All emergency SNAP supplements for April 2020 will be available to eligible Households on or Around April 7, 2020.
In the last few weeks, food supplies for WIC were low, but stores are beginning to recover. WIC offices are still open at this time and taking new participants. More information is available on the WIC website.
