Become a CNP Educator

CNP educators are the face of our program, based out of University of Wyoming Extension county offices across the state. Duties include providing cooking and nutrition education classes for people with limited resources, and building partnerships with community agencies to help put healthier choices within reach. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required for daily travel.

Minimum requirements: 

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years of work-related experience in education, nutrition, or agency work
  • Valid driver’s license

* The Cent$ible Nutrition Program is funded by USDA SNAP-Ed and EFNEP. SNAP-Ed assists individuals and families who receive, or are eligible to receive, benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). EFNEP assists families and youth with limited resources  in acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and changed behaviors necessary for nutritionally sound diets and contributes to their personal development and the improvement of total family diet and nutritional welfare.
