About Me

Hi, I’m Ruth!  I am an educator with the Cent$ible Nutrition program in Albany County since 2023.  I am especially passionate about teaching youth and people of all ages about where the food we eat comes from, fostering a deeper connection to nutrition and community.  I enjoy working with community partners to support impactful projects at gardens, food pantries, and schools.

Growing New Roots at the Linford School Garden

September 2024-The garden at Linford Elementary School in Laramie has been there for many years, but for the last few, it’s been dormant.  All of that changed this year when Linford librarian Stefanie Hunt connected with Cent$ible Nutrition Program (CNP) educator Ruth Lake.
