In the Kitchen: Cooking with Emmer

Emmer is a type of wheat and was one of the first domesticated plants. It is estimated that emmer was domesticated around 12,000 years ago in the Middle East. With this long history, emmer is referred to as a ‘first-grain’. Today, emmer is one of the grains grown by University of Wyoming researchers through Neolithic brand Wyoming First-Grains
