From our Perspective...

What I like most about being a CNP Educator is being able to help others with creating healthy meals, reaching health goals that they have been striving to reach in the past, starting long lasting healthy habits for themselves and even their families, and being able to help the community with community gardens, getting local produce to families, child care centers creating healthy habits for kids, and local food pantries getting healthy food options available.

Laramie County CNP in the Community

Laramie County CNP is branching out in its programming during COVID-19 to offer new online classes to families and agencies.

Fresh Food Donations

Laramie County CNP and Cheyenne Rotary After Hours club worked together in summer 2020 to coordinate fresh food donations to a local food pantry.

Growing Green Thumbs

In Laramie County, six early care and education centers are worked with CNP educators to start gardens in summer 2020. Involving kids in gardening is a great way to encourage kids to try new foods and be active.
