High Energy Trail Mix

Celebrate National Trail Mix Day every August 31st with this flavorful mix. Try dark chocolate chips or honey roasted peanuts.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups multi-grain cereal (such as Cheerios)
  • 1 3/4 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds.

 

Directions

  1. Wash hands with warm, soapy water for 20 seconds.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Store in airtight container or resealable plastic bag.

Makes 17 servings
